Ten institutions in New York City to join hands for Chinese New Year Celebration

CSSA proudly announces that during this year's spring festival, we will join hands with the Chinese organizations of 7 other institutions in New York City to present to our members and friends a grand Chinese New Year Celebration.

The idea of holding a joint CNY celebration was brought up by CSSA in August, 2006, and was immediately welcomed by the Chinese student organizations of the other seven institutions in New York City. Participating institutions signed an agreement in Nov, 2006 to formally launch the preparations for the celebration. Holding the CNY celebration together with other schools in NYC makes it truly possible to share resources, integrate manpower, promote the communication between members of the participating institutions, as well as to bring the best performances to the audiences.

The ten institutions to host the joint CNY celebration are:

New York University Medical Center
Mount Sinai School of Medicine
CUNY City College
CUNY Hunter College
CUNY Queens College
Albert Einstein College of Medicine
Polytechnic University
