Seminar: Perspective of China's Life Science - A view from Shanghai Institute for Biological Sciences' (SIBS') development

     With China's booming life science research and industry, CSSA will organize a seminar titled "Perspective of China's Life Science - A view from the development of Shanghai Institute for Biological Sciences (SIBS)".

     The speaker is Dr. Bing Sun, Co-Director of the prestigious Institut Pasteur of Shanghai, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Cherry blossom trip

Cherry is blossoming with spring around the corner. CSSA will organize a picnic in Brooklyn Botanic Garden to see cherry blossom. The details of the trip are:

Date: April 28, 2007 Saturday
Place: Brooklyn Botanic Garden (How to go there?)

1) To register, please email to bih2005 at med.cornell.edu by Apr. 27.
2) Meet at the entrance of Brooklyn Botanic Garden at 11AM
3) Water, drinks, fruits and snacks will be provided by CSSA.
4) Each participant will pay the admission fee of $5 and bring food for brief lunch.

CSSA将组织一次樱花节出游活动。活动具体信息如下：
时间：四月二十八日，星期六
地点：布鲁克林植物园 （如何到达）
相关事宜：
1) 请于四月27日之前发邮件至bih2005@med.cornell.edu注册。
2) 当天上午11点在植物园大门口集合。
3) CSSA将提供免费的饮料，水果和点心。
4) 每个参加者将自付门票5元，并请自带简单午餐。
