   In partnership with United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT) and NGO Committee on Human Settlements, Cornell Chinese Culture Club (CCCC) and Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) bring to you a series of seminars on "public health, urbanization and sustainability".

   This series of seminars hosts the world's renowned political leaders and scholars to discuss strategies and introduce paradigms of handling challenges of public health, poverty, housing and sustainable development in the era of rapid urbanization.

    The upcoming seminar will host the distinguished guest speaker:

The Singapore Experience

Ambassador Menon’s presentation will focus on Singapore’s expertise on sustainable urban development in the areas of good governance, urban planning, effective resource management, quality living environment, affordable housing, quality healthcare, and sustainable transport solutions.

    康奈尔大学中华文化俱乐部（CCCC）和四校中国学生学者联谊会（CSSA）与联合国人居署以及联合国非政府组织人居委员会协作，推出以“公共卫生、城市化和社会可持续性发展”为主题的系列讲座。我们这一系列讲座邀请联合国高级官员、各国驻联合国政要及世界知名专家学者进行专题演讲，阐述当今全球快速城市化进程中，所面临的公共卫生和可持续性发展问题的挑战以及应对策略和范例。

    近一期讲座将邀请到新加坡共和国常驻联合国大使Vanu Gopala Menon先生做演讲，介绍新加坡在城市资源管理，公共卫生，住房，医疗，交通等方面建设现代化宜居城市的先进经验。
