Taxi fare

There are 3 airports serving New York City:

1. From John F. Kennedy International Airport (IATA airport code: JFK)
   $45 (flat rate) to the first destination in Manhattan (not including toll or tip). Fares to subsequent destinations are based on the meter.
    

2. From Newark Liberty International Airport (IATA airport code: EWR)
   Fares are based on the meter, usually $40-55 to Manhattan (not including toll or tip)
    

3. From LaGuardia Airport (IATA airport code: LGA)
   Fares are based on the meter, usually $25-30 to Manhattan (not including toll or tip)

   Tip:	Tip is usually an additional 15-20% of the taxi fare.

School location and how to direct your taxi driver

If you are checking into the housing assigned to you (usually located within close proximity of the schools):

Please direct the taxi driver to your housing location indicated on your acceptance letter.

If you are coming to the schools upon arrival:

1. Cornell Medical School: 1300 York Avenue
   tell your driver to go to "York Avenue and East 69th Street"
    

2. The Rockefeller University: 1230 York Avenue
   tell your driver to go to "York Avenue and East 67th Street"
    

3. Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center: 1275 York Avenue
   tell your driver to go to "York Avenue and East 68th Street"
    

4. Hospital for Special Surgery: 535 East 70th Street
   tell your driver to go to "York Avenue and East 71st Street"
